Fractales de Octubre. October fractals

Dreamy landscape. Landscape de ensueño

Dreamy landscape. Acrylic on canvas, October 2016.

The light blue butterfly. La mariposa celeste.

The Light Blue Butterfly. Acrylic on canvas. 12"x12"

There's a cultural space about the jungle and rain forest for kids at the Santa Ana Zoo, California. In one of these rooms, there are glass tanks under very low light, with small simulations of the habitat inside.

Red rose abstractions. Abstracciones de rosa roja

I made this pictures with a tiny Aluminum bag that had tea inside, just before trashing it. I thought it twice, why not taking a few shots and see if I could achieve interesting shapes, reflections and colors?

I prepared a whole series and I'm not done yet, I am having a lot of fun with this bag.

These ones have been taken with my cell phone, which has a red cover.

Dry leaf. Hoja seca

Óleo pastel. Oil pastels.

Crab Cangrejo

Mi first oil pastel, a crab under water. Mi primer óleo pastel, un cangrejo bajo el agua.

Still learning.... Aún aprendiendo..

Pájaro en aparente simetría. Bird in apparent symmetry

A bird in apparent symmetry, or a ram? Maybe it´s an owl. Actually, it´s a fractal.

Non figurative colorful shots

I have got these shots using a Christmas plastic green bowl with some curls relief, inside it I put decorative feathers bought at the last year Gay Pride parade, so the feathers have the rainbow colors.

All pictures are in 80% high contrast.

Ellipses. Elipses

One of my abstracts acrylics as seen through a new glass vase I have. The original painting has some colorful ellipses in a blueish background, I managed to leave one of them in focus. At least this acrylic was not trashed but "recreated".

Ruined dry leaves. Hojas secas y arruinadas

My plant of kale has been attacked by worms. I think it still has a beautiful pattern

A leaf of my kale, above a marine shell

A very interesting leaf that I´ve found, it has the texture of velvet. I suppose it´s a succulent.

The upper pictures are from my kale´s leaf

A ruined dry leaf full of duck excrements, that I´ve found at the park. I´m interested on the morphology, the shadows and textures
